Nearing the end

We are getting too close to the end of the semester for me to be comfortable with being able to fufill all of my requirements. I need!!! a class 3 and a few class 2 quads. I really don't know what else to do. I'm going to try to schedule some screenings, but I've had a really hard time getting a hold of anyone that I've gotten off of the recall list. Today my patient had perio, but not much calculus, so she was a class 5. That doesn't help me as far as requirements at all. Hopefully I get lucky or something, because that's about what it is going to take for me now.

Finished my exams!!

My patient today was another half class 2 half class 1. I did my mom that way as an exam, and so now I was able to him that way as an exam, so I finished both my 1b and 2 exams. I'm real excited. I'm gettting closer to getting all my requirements done, I need a class 3 though very badly. I'm going to do some screenings and hopefully I will get one. I like the more patients I see, I feel like I learn more each time with each new patient, and I am feeling more competent with what I'm doing each time. 5 weeks left!

Another 1B patient

My class 2 patient cancelled today, and the only person I could find was another 1B. I'm starting to get really nervous about finding class 2 and class 3 patients. I've been working at it, but can't seem to find anyone. I'm just hoping luck will come my way and I will find someone soon. I am getting fairly good at 1B patients.:) I actually am finishing scaling within 20 min. But I need some more challenging stuff if I'm going to learn what I need to. Hopefully I can find those patients soon.
